Terms of Use

1. Agreeing to these terms

By creating an account or using beem you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use beem.

2. Who can use beem

You are responsible for everything that happens on your account, so keep your phone, email and sign-in codes to yourself. Each sign-in method (phone, email or Google) is its own account.

3. What is not allowed

You must not use beem to share or do anything that:

• involves anyone under 18, or sexual content of any kind involving minors;
• is illegal, violent, hateful, or harasses, threatens or bullies anyone;
• shows nudity or sexual activity in public streams;
• impersonates another person or brand, or misleads people about who you are;
• is spam, a scam, or an attempt to take payments outside beem;
• infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or privacy;
• cheats the coin, gift or payout systems, for example with fake or multiple accounts.

We may review broadcasts and reports, remove content, end streams, and suspend or ban accounts that break these rules, with or without notice.

4. Your content

You own what you stream, post and send. You give beem permission to host, show and transmit it so the service works, for as long as it is on beem. You confirm you have the rights to everything you share.

5. Coins

Coins are bought with real money through our payment provider, Stripe, at the prices shown in the store. Coins are a licence to use features on beem, not money: they have no cash value, cannot be sold or transferred except by sending gifts, and are not refundable except where the law requires. Free coins, such as welcome coins, are promotional and may be changed or withdrawn at any time.

6. Gifts, diamonds and payouts

Gifts are paid for in coins and cannot be taken back once sent. The creator who receives a gift earns one diamond for every coin it cost. Paid private live shows are charged in coins per minute.

Creators can request a payout of their diamonds to a bank account or PayPal once they reach the minimum shown on the Payouts page, at the rate shown there. Every payout is reviewed. We may delay, reduce or refuse a payout, and reverse diamonds, where we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse or a breach of these terms. Creators are responsible for any tax on what they earn.

7. Ending your account

You can ask us to delete your account at any time through Customer Support. Deleting an account removes its streams, followers and balances, and unused coins are lost. We may close accounts that break these terms.

8. The service

We work to keep beem running, but it is provided as it is and may change, pause or be unavailable at times. To the extent the law allows, beem is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for what other members say or do. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. When we make important changes we will tell you on beem, and continuing to use beem after that means you accept the updated terms.
